Soccer Excellence WBSA

Walter Bustamante is LIU Hall Fame 2018 a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally in the USISL.

Bustamante attended Long Island University where he was a 1993 First Team All American soccer player and the 1994 Northeast Conference Player of the Year. He holds the school’s career record for assists.

In 1995, he played for the Jersey Dragons. In February 1996, the MetroStars selected Bustamante in the sixteenth round (156th overall) of the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft.

WB Soccer Academy is designed to be part of the surrounding community to provide the opportunity for every child to experience top quality training and youth leadership.

WB Soccer Academy  seeks to improve community connections, support healthy lifestyles, and to develop Students / Athletes. 

Objective: WBSA will provide players, team and clubs with top professional training to meet their needs. WBSA  goal is to work closely with each player to create a specific and customized program to take the player, team or club to the next level.

  Our goals and objectives will achieved by :

  • Providing professional training with a focus on skill development, technical and tactical training and competitive team play for all of its players.

  • Providing a safe, constructive and educational environment that will prepare committed soccer players to play the game at the highest levels.

  • Creating depth of experience in each player that will enable the participant to enjoy a life-long appreciation for the game.

  • Fostering creativity, commitment, confidence and sportsmanship in all of our players
